DelfMEMS is the world’s first supplier to market of radiofrequency systems based on MEMS ohmic switches for mobile telephony applications. Next generation mobile devices will increasingly rely on tunable and low loss components to deliver high performance multi-standard and multi-mode devices at a reasonable cost. The developed technology is optimal for tunability and reconfiguration of antennas and power amplifiers used in portable devices using 4G-LTE and Wifi. Key benefits include better call quality, massively improved data rate, reduced costs, and lower power consumption, thereby improving the device’s overall carbon footprint. The total addressable market in 2015 is forecasted to be more than $1 billion.

Since inception in 2005 DelfMEMS has focused on the development of its patent portfolio, currently holding 4 patents, with an additional 2 pending and 2 submitted. DelfMEMS owns the fabrication process for its RF MEMS products. As a fabless company, DelfMEMS has transfered its manufacturing process to a volume factory.

The Company has partnerships with one of the world’s largest module makers for a production start in 2014, leading to supply the products to the world’s leading smartphone manufacturer for radiofrequency and power management applications.  Beginning of 2013, DelfMEMS has secured a round B funding of $10.5M to accelerate the industrialisation of its products.
