DelfMEMS will exhibit @IMS 2013, in Seattle, booth #1639. The IEEE MTT International Microwave Symposium (IMS) is the premier annual international meeting for technologists involved in all aspects of microwave theory and practice. It consists of a full week of events, including technical paper presentations, workshops, and tutorials, as well as a full set of social events. The symposium also hosts a huge commercial exhibition.

The IEEE MTT-S Microwave Week has several conferences that are co-located at the same venues. Besides the flagship IMS Conference, Microwave Week also hosts the IEEE RFIC and ARFTG conferences.

Join DelfMEMS in Seattle, Washington  to experience the IEEE International Microwave Symposium in the Pacific Northwest.  The IMS2013 will be the centerpiece of Microwave Week, 2 - 7 June 2013.

DelfMEMS will attend Microwave & RF trade show in Paris. Olivier Millet, Chief Strategy & Marketing officer will present "RF MEMS switches for mobile communications" at the RF MEMS workshop, April 10th, 2013.

Microwave & RF 2013, the new professional and highly qualitative event, will offer, in addition to the show, 7 cycles of conferences devoted to problems inherent to different fields of work of visitors to the show: antenna technology, RF and optical, RF Mems, 4G Mobile Radio, etc. and EMC which occurs over two days with a precise and practical programme.

More than ever today, with the spiralling progress of wireless communication technologies, electronic systems using RF circuits to communicate or transmit data, questions about electromagnetic waves, the consequences of involving EMC in our daily lives have become important.

The purpose of these conferences is to answer questions about the development of EMC and Radio standards on the compliance of products and their integration in certain main sectors.

Here is the detailed presentation of the EMC conferences organized around four specific sessions.

Much of the recent focus on materials and manufacturing innovation has been on graphene but in practice RF designers now have access to a broad range of new materials and combinations of materials that potentially yield useful performance gain and design flexibility. Two contemporary examples are silicon on sapphire used in high throw switch paths and RF MEMS used in digital capacitor and resonator and reactive component technology.

This session examines practical implementation options and the related impact on mobile broadband user device performance.

Confirmed agenda and speakers:

·    Introduction from chair, Roger Belcher, RTT

·    UltraCMOS® for high performance switch paths and tuneable components,Rodd Novak, Peregrine Semiconductor

·    RF MEMS for antenna impedance tuning and tuneable RF front-ends, Jeff Hilbert, Wispry

·   RF MEMS – MEMS based technology platform for high performance RF switching, Guillaume d’Eyssautier, DelfMEMS

·    MEMS resonators – a new approach to oscillator design, Matthew Crowley, Sand9

·    RF MEMS –third generation performance benchmarks, Larry Morrell, Cavendish Kinetics

·    Open forum Q&A panel session with all speakers and audience

DelfMEMS will exhibit @ EUMW 2011 in Manchester, booth #539. The 14th European Microwave Week 2011, being held this year in Manchester, builds on the success of the previous microwave weeks: Amsterdam (1998, 2004, 2008) • London (2001) • Manchester (2006) • Milan (2002) • Munich (1999, 2003, 2007) • Paris (2000, 2005, 2010) • Rome (2009). The conference has grown over the years and is now the premier event in this field in Europe. The European Microwave Week consists of three conferences: The European Microwave Conference (EuMC) / The European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC) / The European Radar Conference (EuRAD).

In addition, Exhibitor Workshops, Seminars and Round Table Forums will be a platform for leading manufacturers, institutes and industry bodies to stimulate dialogue and interaction with attendees on relevant Microwave, RF, Wireless, Defence/Security and Radar issues.

The Week provides an invaluable opportunity for industrialists, academics and researchers to consider the latest trends and developments within the ever-widening field of microwaves.
